The MEX CO2 Recovery Process follows a simple to operate and manage system that is fully automated once established.

In addition to reducing production expenses, the retrieval of CO2 from fermentation contributes to a more environmentally friendly process, therefore resulting in decreased emissions and a smaller carbon footprint.

CO2 Retrieval process.

1. Gas Capture

Fermentation-produced raw gas undergoes capture.

4. Storage / Further uses.

The compressed gas can be further processed and converted to nitrogen through a nitrogen generator. It can also be bottled and on-sold in large or small formats.

2. Scrubbing

Gas scrubbers purify and remove alcohol and aerosols from the captured gas to 99.998% food-grade purity.

3. Pressurisation

The purified gas is then compressed and stored ready for use when needed.
